As you can see, the dog park has the upper hand. Today Thor got to go run errands with Leo this morning, early. So Darla and mommy decided to go to the dog park, sans Thor.
Everything was great at first.  She made friends with a lab/rotty/husky mix named Poe. Though it wasn’t too hot today, she quickly worked herself up to a pant. But 30 minutes in, a toy and a mini  Australian Shepard joined the party. While Darla is usually good with small dogs, she doesn’t realize how imposing she is at 115 lbs. And since Thor is not submissive, she tends to go a little overboard with small submissive pups. Which meant. ..we left the dog park.  But it still tired her out enough! We live to fight another day…hopefully longer than half an hour next time.
